Total solar eclipse 〰️ august 12, 2026 〰️ Castellón de la plana, spain 〰️

You could just hop over to see the eclipse.
You could join a group that sticks to the usual tourist spots.

Or… you could come with us.

We’re a crew that loves Ancient Aliens, The Telepathy Tapes, UFOs, metaphysics, astrology, consciousness, quantum mechanics… basically, a little weird—and that’s why we’re fun.

We’re all about the vibe.

Join us in Castellon de la Plana on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 as we watch the total solar eclipse blow our minds.
And if the weather’s tricky, don’t worry—we’ve got guaranteed transport within a 3-hour radius to chase the best view. (Metaphysics can’t control the weather…yet.)

DESTINATIONS

  • Sunday, August 9th – Arrival in Valencia
Arrive at the Mythic Hotel and spend the day exploring on your own as the group trickles in. In the evening, we’ll gather for a casual meetup at the hotel lobby bar with everyone who has arrived.

Monday, August 10th – Sound Bath & Valencia Highlights
Start the day with a free breakfast at the hotel, then join us for a rejuvenating sound bath at Equilibrio Sonoro to kick off our meditative journey.

Afterwards, there’s an OPTIONAL excursion to the City of Arts & Sciences, including the Museum of Science, L’Hemisferic planetarium, and Oceanografic aquarium. Tickets for L’Hemisferic aren’t available yet, but I’ll secure them if there’s interest.

We’ll also aim for an OPTIONAL dinner at Submarino, dining surrounded by fish in the aquarium—reservations open in April, so spots are limited. As a backup option, I’ve booked at El Camarino in Ruzafa, a lively neighborhood perfect for the evening.

Spaces and reservations for these activities are limited and likely to sell out—early interest helps ensure you get a spot.

Tuesday, August 11th – Yoga & Travel to Castellón de la Plana
After breakfast, enjoy yoga with Yoga Flow, featuring meditation, deep stretching, and a relaxing savasana. Then we return to the hotel to pack and board private transportation to Castellón de la Plana for the eclipse.

August 9th-11th

  • Tuesday, August 11 – Arrival in Castellón de la Plana
Check into Civis Jaime I and enjoy a free afternoon exploring this small, safe, and walkable city. Highlights nearby include El Fadrí Tower and Mercat Central, with beaches just a half-hour tram ride away.
In the evening, we’ll have dinner together at Tasca del Puerto, a Michelin-rated restaurant in El Grau, and review plans for the next day.

Wednesday, August 12 – Eclipse Day
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Playa del Gurugú to watch the eclipse (weather permitting). If needed, a private van can take us within a 3-hour radius to maximize viewing chances. Lunch will be sandwiches and/or salads to go.

    Eclipse Notes:

    • Partial eclipse: 7:37 PM | Totality: 8:31 PM | Sunset: 9:00 PM

    • Complimentary Donnaroo’s Totality camping chair provided

    • Bring a swimsuit and towel if we’re on the beach

    • Van space is limited; seating may be tight

    • Dinner after the eclipse may be uncertain, so snacks and water will be provided

Depart at 9:00 AM in our private van for Barcelona.
